Which Alpine A290 Should I Lease?
Every A290 shares the same 52kWh battery. The main choice is power, then equipment. In the trim names, 130kW is the 180hp motor and 160kW is the 220hp motor.
180hp – GT and GT Premium
The 180hp motor gives 0–62mph in 7.4 seconds and Alpine's highest quoted range of up to 236 miles (WLTP). GT is the entry point; GT Premium adds extra equipment while keeping the same motor. Best for drivers who want the lowest monthly cost and the longest range.
220hp – GT Performance, GTS and Première Edition
The 220hp motor drops the 0–62mph time to 6.4 seconds, with Alpine's quoted range of up to 226 miles (WLTP). GT Performance adds the more powerful motor and grippier tyres; the GTS is the sporty range-topper; the Première Edition is a launch specification. Best for drivers who want the full hot-hatch performance.
